The view to the north is the Stuart Range at the headwaters of the Teanaway River. Mt. Stuart is the second tallest non-volcano in Washington and the largest chunk of granite in the United States.

The Yakima River rises near Snoqualmie Pass and runs right through the town of Cle Elum. Nearby Lake Cle Elum provides a still water play area.

Lots of wildlife can be seen in the area. The Buffalo (Bison) aren’t wild, but they are a treat to see in the Teanaway area.
